AI models anyone can download, run and build on, as they trend on Hugging Face, where labs, companies and developers post them: who made each one and where, what it does, its license, and the most downloaded and most liked.
Releases from labs and companies, in the order of Hugging Face's trending list. Each name opens the model on Hugging Face; a blue tag opens our own page for it.

Downloads count every fetch of a model's files over the last 30 days, including by software running on its own, so they show use inside apps as much as by people. Likes are all-time.
“Open license” means terms like Apache 2.0 or MIT, which let anyone use, change and sell with the model. “Maker's own license” means the maker set its own terms, often with limits, so read them first.
Copies of another maker's model in a new file format, merges of other models, and models built to strip out safety limits, make sexual images or slip past AI detectors. A maker's own copies count once.
Likes and downloads show what developers are trying, not whether a model is accurate or safe. Where independent testers have scored a model, its blue tag opens our page with the scores. Many of these models also run on a home computer.
